What a shock! It was 85 and sunny most of the time in Maui and we came home to snow!!It was a GREAT vacation! Jeff, Tanner and I went to Maui with my mom (Tutu - Hawaiian for grandma), Dad, Bobby, Ricky, Dave AND Tanner's Great Grandma Cookie! Ricky flew 26 hours from DC to meet us, Dave flew all the way from Arizona and Grandma Cookie came from Denver. It was the first time Grandma and David had seen Tanner. He was spoiled!! He grew sooo much over the week. He is smiling every day and even talking to us! Jeff and I went out for a date night to celebrate our anniversary and left Tanner with the gang one night. I swear he was bigger when we got back to the hotel!
One of the highlights of the trip was a whale watch we went on with the whole family. Whale watching season is just starting but they were everywhere!! Jeff and I go on a Whale watch every year but this was definitely the BEST! We went through the Pacific Whale Foundation (a non-profit organization that donates all the profits to the research and protection of the whales) and they were great! They were very knowledgeable and took us right to the whales. The whales swam right up to the boat and we saw multiple full breeches.
It was definitely different traveling with Tanner. We brought so much stuff and I didn't get to bake in the sun as much as I use to. =-) But he was GREAT! He slept through all the flights and loved laying in his tent by the pool.
Now we are home and enjoying the snow!! I can't believe Christmas is next week! We are headed up to Poulsbo to spend the holiday with the Carlsen's!!
Then we took him to see his Great Grandma Carlsen. He is her 29th Great Grand child!! 
Next we took him on his 1st Ferry Ride over to see Grandpa Big Fish and Grandma Carlsen...
He also got to see his Great Grandma Healey and Uncle Scott 
Next, his first wedding!
He was on his best behavior and even showed off his funny faces for everyone!
Then Uncle Ricky came to visit all the way from DC to join the #1 Uncle competition.
